For over 25 years, Scottish Stained Glass has been designing and crafting stained glass throughout the United States. In this time, we have discovered the perfect process for designing and building stained glass windows that compliments new modern homes and commercial space.
Our Design Process
Our design process begins with a visit to your Salt Lake City home. When we arrive, our designer will show you examples of previous designs and will develop an understanding of your goals for your new project. We will make sure to compliment the aesthetic of your home with the perfect stained glass design. Once we have established these variables, we will then work with you to come up with multiple concepts. In most cases, our designers can often create initial designs on site, during their first visit. We will also provide precise CAD designs as well as colored renderings approximating the final color scheme.
Stained Glass Construction
The next step is where our artisans start the construction of your window at our Utah workshop. We will then bring the panels to your house, office, or church and generally install them by bonding to existing the glass. This allows your windows to last a lifetime. Our perfected process allows the stained glass installations to be quick and easy. Most of our installations take less than 30 minutes per pane.
